BOTW, Ashley’s Carnival Ride

Before we dive into this week’s blog highlight, I wanted to bring your attention to a few things.

  • I’ve updated the gallery with 18 new designs.  Click over and check them out!
  • On September 22nd, I’m going to offer a Fall Discount because, well, I absolutely love fall!  Everything about fall makes me happy, and I want to give you all another reason to love fall too.  So check back in a couple of weeks to see what we have to offer.

But without further ado, I’m excited to introduce Ashley.  This is the second design I’ve worked with Ashley on and I adore working with her.  Read on to learn more about her!

Ashley, Ashley’s Carnival Ride

Explain the meaning behind the name of your blog.
My blog name comes from my favorite line in the song "Wheel of the World" by Carrie Underwood. I think it is a great way to describe the ups and downs of my life and how God is in control of it all.

How long have you been blogging? Why did you start blogging?
I have been blogging since 2010. After reading blogs for about a year, I decided to jump in and do my own! I love having a way to document my life and having my own little corner of the internet to write about whatever I want.

What do you love most blogging?
I LOVE the wonderful friendships I've made through blogging! I have so many great friends that I would have never met without blogging. I love that there is a whole group of women who understand what I do and why I share my life online. I love that so many of my blog friends have become real-life friends too!

What's the most surprising thing you've discovered since you began blogging?
The most surprising thing about blogging for me has also been the friendships! When I first started blogging, I NEVER imagined that I would make such wonderful, real friends. I never imagined I'd spend weekends with them, go on vacations with them, and go to blog conferences with them! I am so thankful to have connected with such wonderful people, and I can't imagine not having them as a part of my life.
