This summer has proved to be a difficult one. Its been one of the hardest seasons in my life to date, and if you follow my personal blog, you know the number of things that have been on my plate.
But the most significant event was the death of my grandmother. She was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer on July 9th and passed away on August 9th. Such a short, but sweet, 30 days to have with her. I’ll share some of an email that went out to clients late last week.
You have no idea how thankful I am to work with such a lovely group of people. Thank you for your kind words, thoughts, and prayers during this difficult time in losing my grandmother and the subsequent details of the burial and funeral. Your kindness brought me to tears time and time again, and I cannot thank you enough for your patience during this past week. It has been a hard seven days and while I know there's more grieving to come, I'm thankful to put this part of the process behind me and move forward in mourning our loss, while trying to return to real life.
I truly am blessed to work with such an amazing group of clients. Its part of the reason that I love my job so!
Hopefully this explains the quiet of Munchkin Land Designs lately. I’m doing my best to slowly and surely get caught up. I will be restarting the weekly feature “Blog of the Week” tomorrow, so be sure to come back and meet this week’s featured blogger.
Again, thanks for all of your kind words and patience! I wouldn’t have been able to survive these past two weeks without it.
