BOTW, Raviolis and Waterworks

Introducing this week’s Blog of the Week…

Jaclyn, Raviolis and Waterworks

Explain the meaning behind the name of your blog.
Being a full blood Sicilian, Raviolis is one of my favorite foods!  I can barely type the words without whispering yum!  Waterworks is because of an old friend that used to cry a lot.  Delicious food and giving friends advice are two of my favorite things!

How long have you been blogging?  Why did you start blogging?
I have been blogging for a little less than a year.  I started to blog because of a real good friend of mine, Peaches.  She was constantly pushing me to put all my crazy thoughts down on paper to share with the world.  Turns out she was right!  It has been a great experience, and will hopefully open doors for me in the future.  I would love to blog professionally for a magazine.  My readers could tell you that I have a very serious love affair with Glamour magazine.  I turn every page with passion.  To sum it up, Peaches and Glamour are owed credit for the creation of Raviolis & Waterworks.

JaclynWhat do you love most blogging?
The best part about blogging has been all of the great people that I have met!  I can't even begin to list the people that I call a friend through the blogging world.  It's interesting to see how well you get to know these people and how much you grow to care about them.

What's the most surprising thing you've discovered since you began blogging?
I thought for sure that I would run out of things to say.  What surprised me most is the never ending amount of blogging material that comes out of my life.  Whether it be a funny story or a frustrating event that led to one of my lists, it makes for great writing material.  After almost a full year of blogging daily, I have yet to fall short of ideas.

What is the one thing you want others to know about yourself, or your blog?
I want people to remember me for the smile that my page put on their face!  I hope that everyone can laugh along with my humor and relate to what I have to say.
